Dad took a job working on the Alyeska Pipeline in Alaska back in 1977. Mom and I did our first drive to Alaska in September of that year. 5,000 miles and 96 hours later we drove into Anchorage. I was hooked. My wife, son and I visited in 1979, and then in 1980 National Bank of Alaska offered me a job and we relocated!
In 1986 we moved back to Texas for 9 years and then moved back to Anchorage for 10 years… Now we are in Washington!
